Our all new Dirt Monkey Offroad® Discovery 2 PERFORMANCE ARMOUR Steering Guard is made from ultra tough 8mm thick high strength 5000 series Marine grade Aluminium with 6mm thick high strength steel mounting arms. This grade of Alloy is superior to many of the cheaper Alloy steering guards on the market as it is not only extremely corrosion resistant, but incredibly lightweight and significantly tougher to impacts than other grades. To further add to the already superior corrosion resistance of the Aluminium, it is supplied finished in a tough, industrial powder coating to further enhance not only the unique aesthetics but the over all performance of the guard.
It is designed to fit all Discovery 2 variants, with or without ACE and is designed to fit with both standard bumpers and HD Winch Bumpers. Please note, when fitting with standard bumpers, some trimming of the inner bumper trim may be required to fit these. Supplied with all the required bolts for fitment (re-use of bumper mounting bolts is required).
The DIRT MONKEY OFFROAD® PERFORMANCE ARMOUR Steering guard is designed for applications where weight saving is important. The Alloy PERFORMANCE ARMOUR range is designed for use on fast road vehicles, competitve vehicles (comp safari etc) and overland vehicles. For heavy offroad use we recommend our EXTREME ARMOUR range.
